- Opportunity Title: Welcome in ESC – Training Course for South-Med Organizations Deadline: 8 September 2026, at 24:00 UTC. Target Audience: Representatives of South-Med organizations, including youth workers, management team members, project coordinators, mentors, and new employees or volunteers in organizations interested in or already active in the European Solidarity Corps programme. Opportunity Summary: SALTO EuroMed is organizing a two-day online training course for organizations from the Southern Mediterranean interested in learning more about and joining the European Solidarity Corps. The course will help participants understand the programme’s main features and actors, quality elements and participation requirements, and prepare their organizations to apply for the Quality Label. What It Supports: The training supports the development of organizational knowledge and capacity in solidarity activities and youth work. It provides practical information about European Solidarity Corps opportunities, Quality Label requirements, and good practices and challenges experienced by participating organizations. Funding / Amount: There is no participation fee. Accommodation, food and travel reimbursement are not applicable because the activity takes place online. Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate recognizing the competences developed during the activity. Eligibility Criteria:
  • The applicant must represent an organization from a Southern Mediterranean country.
  • The organization must be interested in solidarity activities and volunteering or willing to join the European Solidarity Corps programme.
  • The applicant should be a youth worker, management team member, project coordinator, mentor, employee or volunteer of the organization.
  • Organizations already active in the programme may apply with new employees or volunteers.
  • Where possible, SALTO EuroMed will select two representatives per organization.
  • The course is not intended for young people who wish to apply individually for a volunteering opportunity.
  • Applicants must be able to follow the training in English.
  • The course is intended for 40 participants from Southern Mediterranean countries.

  1. Read the course details and application requirements carefully.
  2. Watch the information-session video about the European Solidarity Corps programme before attending the course.
  3. Submit an online application through the “Apply now!” link by 8 September 2026 at 24:00 UTC.
  4. Wait for the selection results, which will be announced on 11 September 2026.
  5. Attend the online training course on 17–18 September 2026. The course consists of two full training days.
  6. If interested in applying for the Quality Label, participants may attend an additional online session on the Quality Label application-writing process on 15 October 2026 at 10:00 CEST.
