Deadline: 18 September 2026, midnight EDT (UTC-4), Washington, D.C. time. - Target Audience: Organizations working in eligible Mediterranean Basin countries, including Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. Opportunity Summary: This call invites letters of inquiry for large grants that support biodiversity conservation in the Mediterranean Basin. Funding focuses on traditional land use practices and the preservation of threatened plant species, with grants ranging from US$50,000 to US$180,000. What It Supports:

• Community-linked biodiversity conservation projects.

Funding:

• US$50,000 to US$180,000.
• Applications must be submitted through ConservationGrants only.
• Email submissions are not accepted.

Eligibility:

• Applications are accepted in English or French.
• Eligible countries include Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
• Late submissions will not be accepted for any reason.

Important note: If your project is in Lebanon, the country is eligible for this call, but the proposal must directly align with the strategic directions on traditional land use or threatened plant species conservation. How to Apply:
