Call for applications: Safeguarding Foundations training in the MENA region | Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub
Deadline: 20 July 2026 – application deadline for the online Safeguarding Foundations training. Target Audience: Registered civil society organisations in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan and Yemen that are at an early stage of safeguarding development, including organisations developing their first safeguarding policy with a focus on Protection Against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH). Opportunity Summary: The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) MENA Regional Hub is accepting applications for Safeguarding Foundations online training, an introductory series for civil society organisations in the MENA region that are either developing their first safeguarding policy or are at an early stage of improving safeguarding practice. The training consists of 4 online sessions, each lasting 2–3 hours, delivered over one week, followed by technical support sessions over 4 to 6 months. What the Training Offers:- 4 online training sessions.
- Each session lasts 2 to 3 hours.
- The training will be held online between 3 and 6 August 2026.
- Additional technical support sessions will follow for 4 to 6 months.
- Registered CSOs based in the targeted countries.
- Organisations at an early stage of safeguarding development.
- One staff member or focal person must be nominated for the full training cycle.
- The nominated person must have a stable internet connection and a suitable device.
- Individual applications are not eligible.
- Women’s rights organisations.
- Women-led organisations.
- Organisations working with youth.
- Organisations working with children.
- Organisations working with persons with disabilities (PwD).
- Organisations working with refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees and other marginalised communities.
