Opportunity Summary:Threads of Peace (House of Peace) invites organizations to join a Conflict Sensitivity Certification program tailored for up to 10 organizational clients in 2025. This consultancy-based, paid training package builds concrete capacity in conflict analysis, context assessment, and the practical application of conflict-sensitive measures at various levels. Training concludes with certified recognition, improved organizational reputation, and a proven strategic advantage in stakeholder relations and donor trust.The program offers:
- Conflict Sensitivity Training for Staff – Level 1 (CST1): 3 consecutive days, focused on comprehensive context/conflict analysis, “Do No Harm”/CS best practices, and project-specific action plans.
- Advanced CS Training – Level 2 (CST2): 3 days, for organizations with prior CST1 or equivalent expertise, delving into indirect effects and ethical risk analysis.
- Introductory CS Training for Volunteers (CST0): 1 day, covering CS fundamentals and practical guidelines tailored by participants.
- Organizations with at least 8 staff, if applying for CST1 or CST2.
- Commitment to full training/follow-up, and prior coordination meeting with HOPe CS staff.
- Ability to sign an MOU and appoint a group Focal Point.
- Readiness to financially contribute to training costs (details shared case-by-case).
- Official certificate of completion in Conflict Sensitivity.
- Enhanced organizational credentials in responsible, context-aware project management.
- Strategic positioning and trust from communities, donors, and partners, with increased funding and partnership prospects.
