Youth aged 18–30 living in Baalbeck-Hermel, Beirut, or Mount Lebanon, passionate about peacebuilding, leadership, and civic engagement, able to fully commit to an 8-month program, and never participated in YMCA peacebuilding camps before.Opportunity Summary:
YMCA Lebanon, supported by Oxfam Lebanon, is launching the Youth Peacebuilding Journey from August to October 2025. This initiative includes three phases of residential workshops and training designed to build leadership, peacebuilding skills, and civic engagement through interactive activities, cultural exchange, and community project development with small grant opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Aged 18–30 years.
- Residing in Baalbeck-Hermel, Beirut, or Mount Lebanon.
- Full commitment to the 8-month program.
- Open to dialogue, learning, and active participation.
- Never participated in YMCA peacebuilding camps before.
- Leadership and peacebuilding skill development.
- Supportive peer and mentor network.
- Opportunity to develop and implement a community peace project with a small grant.
- Cultural and recreational activities to foster engagement.
