Opportunity Summary
BirdLife International and DOPPS, the Regional Implementation Team (RIT) for the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), invite civil society organizations to apply for small grants supporting crucial biodiversity conservation efforts in the Mediterranean Basin Biodiversity Hotspot. Projects must align with one of two strategic directions
Coastal Biodiversity Conservation: Supporting local partnerships for globally important coastal biodiversity, including Marine Protected Areas and coastal wetlands
Threatened Plant Conservation: Strengthening civil society engagement to conserve threatened plants and plant communities
Grant Size
USD 15,000 - USD 40,000.
Total Available Funding
USD 600,000.
Project Duration
Minimum 12 months, starting 1 November 2025 and ending by 31 August 2027
Eligibility Criteria
Local and national civil society organizations.
Projects aligned with one of the CEPF strategic directions.
