Cités Unies Liban / Lebanese Technical Office of Municipalities is organizing four training sessions via Zoom during July 2025 to support local governance and enhance the capacities of newly elected municipal councils. Sessions will feature current and former mayors and Lebanese experts sharing experiences and best practices. The sessions aim to provide participants with legal and regulatory frameworks, municipal work tools, and promote modern, inclusive local governance concepts

Tuesday, July 15, 2025 (16:30 – 18:30): Towards a Developmental Municipality: Municipal Development Office, Citizen Consultation, Social Work
Tuesday, July 22, 2025 (16:30 – 18:30): Towards a Resilient and Adaptive Municipality: Environment, Crisis Exit, Financial Resource Enhancement
Tuesday, July 29, 2025 (16:30 – 18:30): Towards a National Association of Municipalities and Unions and a National Municipal Training Program
